1. What video tape formats can you convert to DVD or hard drive?
We can convert most any format including VHS, VHS-C, SVHS, SVHS-C, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, miniDV, DV Cam and HDV. We also handle as well as PAL (European format) tapes.

2. How long does the conversion process take?
All conversion happens in 'real time' - in other words, a 2 hour videotape takes 2 hours to convert to digital format, and then some additional processing and DVD burning time. Orders typically ship within 5-15 business days after we receive it depending on the level of service ordered. 72, 48 and 24 hour turnaround time is available for an additional 'rush fee' - please call us to discuss your deadline.

4. Can I send you my PAL formatted tapes?
Yes, we handle PAL tapes. Since it takes more time to convert PAL (European format) tapes to NTSC (United States format), additional per-tape charges apply.

5. What about VHS tapes longer than 2 hours?
Our flat-rate pricing is based on 2 hours per DVD. If your tapes exceed 2 hours, there is an additional charge, additional hours $7.00



6. What is the difference between a VHS and a VHS-C tape?
VHS-C tapes are smaller tapes about 2" x 3" and they were most commonly used in camcorders. VHS tapes are the full sized tapes, about 4" x 7". We can convert both sizes for you.

8. Will I get my tapes back?
Yes, we'll return your original materials (video tapes, film reels, audio, slides) along with your DVDs once the conversion process is complete. We e-mail you about your order status frequently, and you'll have the a tracking number to keep an eye on your shipment.

9. Can I edit my videos on my computer?
Yes, we offer a Data-DVD service that allows you to edit your videos on your PC or Macintosh computer. We return to you a Data-DVD or external hard drive containing AVI or QuickTime files, which can be edited with all popular video editing programs, including iMovie and Adobe Premiere.

10. Will the DVDs play in my DVD player?
Yes. We transfer your originals onto high quality DVDs ensuring that almost all DVD players can play the DVDs we produce.

11. What forms of payment do you accept?

12. Are there any membership fees?
No, there are no membership fees. Everything is paid for at the time of service. There are no hidden fees and you will not find yourself on any annoying mailing lists either (we hate that!).

13. Can you make my videos look better?
We utilize a sophisticated video conversion process which will ensure that your films and videotapes will look as best as possible. Remember though, that old film is subject to prior scratches and aging; and video tapes will never look as good as broadcast TV, for example. While we cannot always improve the quality of your film or tape, we can ensure that you get the best transfer to DVD that is possible with today's technology.

14. How many tapes can I send in at one time?
You may place an order for any amount of tapes / film reels, select 3 point shipping and we will rush you all the necessary packaging materials and boxe(s) to hold all of your memories and get them safely shipped to us.

15. Can I have a copyrighted video transferred to DVD?
It is our understanding that you are allowed to make a backup copy of any copyrighted videos you own. It must be for personal, private use and you can not make extra copies for friends or family. We require you agree to our Terms and Conditions with any of our conversion services.
